They can be used in your craft in quite a few ways and are easily accessible; since they are weeds and tend to grow in most grassy areas.

Growing tips:
• Collecting seeds: much like a sunflower the bud contains the seeds of the plant (yellow part). Once you have located the seed see if they have turned brown and if they dislodge from the plant easily this is the best time to collect the seeds.
• Watering: spray with water daily but make sure to use soil that has decent drainage.
• Sunlight: thrives in indirect sunlight and keep warm on a windowsill would be ideal.
• Planting: plant a few seeds in a pot around about early spring and then if wanted to put outside when warm.
