·         When you plant a pine because it is a tree it is recommended that you stake it so it can cope with the elements better especially if you are living somewhere you can get strong winds.

·         In the first few years of the trees life you will need to provide it with shade when it is sunny as this can damage the tree.

·         You don’t have to water this tree as regularly you would with other plants as pine is very resilient to the elements but don’t let the soil completely dry out.

·         Don’t forget to prune your tree as this is very important to the way your tree grows.
